St. Andrew’s Kirk:
This magnificent Kirk is situated on Cubon road, is only Scottish Kirk in Bangalore. This was built in early 17th century.
The fort and Tipu Sultan Palace:
The fort has almost ruined only one part of fort is remain. This is a place where Hydar Ali (Tipu’s father) had imprisoned David Baird along with number of British officers during war with British. The fort was famous for its Islamic style carved arches and well preserved Ganpati temple. The Tipu Sultan palace is now a museum. This two story building was started by Hyder Ali and was completed by Tipu Sultan in 1791.
Bangalore Palace:
This 110 year old monument one of the most visited tourists spots of the city. This Tudor style of building was built by Wodyar King in 1880 at the cost of Rs. 1 million.
Cubbon Park:
At the heart of city the 300 acres of green land gives the panoramic view to the city. This green and beautiful park pleasure to visit and is highly popular with walkers, joggers and nature lovers.
Vidhana Soudha:
The most beautiful and important architecture of the city is Vadhana soudha. The huge building houses 24 departments and 300 rooms. It is a real pleasure to see such a marvelous building.
Lal bagh Gardens, Kempegowda Fort, Jama Masjid, Ulsoor Lake and ISKCON temple are some other tourist sightseeing of the Bangalore city.
