Treta ke Thakur:
It is to believe that in this place Lord Ram performed the Ashvamedha Yagya. Raja of Kullu built a temple, about 300 year ago and later in 1784 temple improved by Ahalyabai Holker of Indore. The black sandstone idol situated at the temple was recovered from Saryu and placed in the temple, famous as Kaleram-ka-Mandir.
Ramkot:
This is a chief place of worship in Ayodhya. This place is situated at the site of the ancient citadel of Ramkot. This place is most visited site of Ayodhya and devotees come from all over the country, though out the year.
Swarg Dwar:
According to mythology, Lord Ram is said to have cremated here.
Mani Parbat and Sugriv Parbat:
These two are the ancient earth mounds first one is identify by a stupa, built by the Emperor Ashoka and second one is believed to be an ancient monastery.
The Hanuman Garhi:
This temple is situated at the center of the city. It is to believe that Hanuman lived here in a cave and guarded the janmabhoomi or Ramkot. The main temple has a statue of Maa Anjani, with Bal Hanuman in her lap. This is most visited holy shrine in Ayodhya.
